Parents Newsletter November 2021
1st November
Dear Parents
Welcome back to you all and we hope you had an enjoyable mid-term break.
The last few months have been very busy for many families – the situation regarding Covid has been particularly tricky for all of us, in our homes, and in our school. Parents and staff in our school have continued to be careful when children have symptoms. We thank you sincerely for your continued support. Unfortunately, this has led to children and staff staying out of school but it has helped to keep everyone safe and the school / classes open.
I must appeal to you all again over the next few weeks to be mindful when children or adults develop symptoms or, in some cases, test positive for Covid. The only place for sick children and staff is at home.
If your child or children need to stay at home due to Covid, please let teacher know via Microsoft Team and we will organise support for the children while they are at home. Otherwise, contact the school office and someone from the school will be in touch with you.
Primary Language Curriculum
Our school will be closed on Wednesday 10th November.
The staff will have a training day organised by Department of Education on the new Primary School Language Curriculum.
