It’s great to have everyone back in school - the children have settled in very well (especially, our Junior Infants). They are all delighted to be back in school where they can meet up with their friends.

However, we are aware now that the amount of Covid cases seems to be high out there in the community again. We have heard of children and classes being sent home from different schools.

We were hugely successful last year in keeping everyone safe and in keeping the school / classes open. With your help, we will continue to do what we did before:

• keep those hands clean, and
• keep sick people at home
• If someone at home is unwell, contact your family doctor

Please make sure we have your up-to-date phone number and make sure it’s turned on – we may need you to come to the school right away!

Finally …

If your child goes home sick or is already at home sick – when do they return ???

In line with HSE guidelines, please make sure they are symptom-free for 48hrs before they return to school.

Last year we all worked together, we all played our part – let’s keep this up for the next few weeks.
